From time to time we get asked questions about our products, services and courses. This page has been written for more general questions that seem to come up regularly – if however you don’t find what you are looking for please call us and one of the team will be delighted to help.
A. It will depend on the training you are doing. If it’s a practical course you will be expected to wear appropriate clothing and PPE, this will include Hi-Vis, hard hats, work boots etc. Wear clothing that’s appropriate for the course so jeans, work trousers, t-shirts are fine – however please be aware of the weather and be ready for cold or heat – coats and gloves or long-sleeves and sun protection are advised. Classroom delegates will need to be comfortable so smart casual is advised.
Not all of our Health & Safety courses require candidates to wear PPE, it will be stated on your booking confirmation if you are required to bring PPE with you. We take Health & Safety very seriously so if we ask you to bring PPE then it is for your own safety.
A. We have a range of courses accredited by IPAF, PASMA, IOSH, NEBOSH, CITB, RoSPA and SQA.
A. We use PayPal credit card payment as it’s known worldwide and is one of the most secure ways of paying. You don’t need a PayPal account to pay, you simply check out as a guest, however if you have a PayPal account you can use it. On the login page, click 'Check Out as a guest' that appears below the login form.
We can run weekend and out of hours Health & Safety courses on request. These are run at our training centres or onsite, however there is an additional charge for these courses.
A. It may be possible to book a specific trainer for a private event, depending on availability. However, due to the volume of courses being delivered, we can’t guarantee a specific trainer for a publically scheduled event. Mind you, all of our trainers are really good so whoever you get, you won’t be disappointed.
A. As part of the accreditation process we need to ensure that we follow the correct delivery criteria. In many cases this means that a delegate will need to work independently during an exam and we would be unable to help answer a question. However, our trainers have many years of experience and we ensure you are ready to sit exams, take tests or work independently. 98% of our delegates pass first time.
A. You will receive an automatically generated email with all the information you need. You will also be asked to read the ‘Pre Course Details’ which gives you plenty of information before you get to us. Our team of trainers are there to guide you through your training, and if you need anything they will help.

A. These are courses that we deliver, however are written, checked and policed by an industry association who specialise in that subject. An example is IPAF, this stands for International Powered Access Federation, one of the most recognised governing bodies when it comes to using Powered Access Equipment. Our IPAF courses audited regularly to ensure we are reaching the desired standards. Those who successfully complete IPAF training are awarded the PAL Card (Powered Access Licence), the most widely held and recognised proof of training for platform operators.
